You can look into opportunities at your and/or your parent’s place of employment, organizations you may be a member of, or your church. Applications typically are made available each fall with deadlines in winter and early spring.

Transfer Application Requirements

  • Official Transcripts:
    Students who transfer from an institution of higher education that is accredited, regionally or otherwise, must have an official transcript of their courses sent directly from their original institution to the Office of the Registrar.
  • SAT Scores:
    Students from all colleges may submit valid ACT or SAT scores for placement into college-level courses.
  • Application Fee:
    $20
  • Associates Degree Required:
    Students who have earned an appropriate associate degree from an accredited institution can transfer 90 hours into the 2+2 baccalaureate programs with junior status.

Transfer Credit Policy

  • Minimum Grade:
    Credit may be granted for comparable course descriptions and credit hours in which students have received a grade of C or better.
  • Credits (Min/Max):
    A max of 135 quarter hours for baccalaureate degree programs, 81 for associate degree programs and 54 for diploma programs may be transferred from other institutions. A max of 20 credit hours will satisfy the gen ed component of the AAS degree.
